Know which guards arrived at which client site
Security companies run shifts across many client premises, around the clock. Each client site in Attendify has its own geofence, so a guard can only check in at the post they are assigned to, from inside the boundary. Every check-in carries a liveness selfie, and face verification can be required where the post warrants it.
The live dashboard shows arrivals and departures across every site as they happen. Guards at posts with poor signal can still check in: the punch is saved on the phone and validated when it syncs.
Overnight, rotating and back-to-back shifts
- Overnight shifts stay together. A 22:00 to 06:00 shift is attributed to the work date it started on, not split across two days.
- Rotating rosters are published per period, and a published roster outranks the default rule for the days it covers. Rostered days off are recorded as days off, not as absences.
- Call-backs and extra sessions: if a guard is called back after checking out, the extra session is accepted and flagged for review rather than refused.
- Short rest between shifts is flagged (by default when rest is under eight hours; the threshold is per company), so double shifts are visible before payroll.
Timesheets and exports by client site
Reports filter by site and date range, and every export row carries the site. That gives contract managers and payroll one set of reviewed hours, broken down by client premises. Days with a missing check-out are excluded from payroll exports until a supervisor resolves them with a recorded reason.
Example: a missed check-out at 06:00
A guard is rostered 22:00 to 06:00 and forgets to check out. The open shift shows up as an exception in the review inbox and stays out of the payroll export. The relief guard's 06:00 check-in is useful context, but it doesn't prove when the first guard left. The supervisor records a correction with the reason and evidence, and the day recalculates.
What Attendify doesn't do for security operations
Attendance is one part of guard management. Attendify doesn't provide guard tours or patrol checkpoints, incident reports, dispatch or lone-worker alarms. A check-in shows a guard arrived at the post, not that the post was covered continuously or a patrol was completed. Keep those requirements with a dedicated guard-operations system.
