What Attendify produces
Available on the Growth plan. The Gusto layout is a CSV of reviewed hours with these columns: employee_id, date, hours, hour_type and note.
- employee_id is the worker's payroll ID in Attendify, which should hold their Gusto employee ID.
- hours on the regular row are that shift's regular hours.
- When there is overtime, a second row for the same shift carries the overtime hours with hour_type "overtime".
- note records the Attendify worker code and whether a supervisor corrected the day.
It's a file for Gusto's time-tracking import, not a certified or partner connector.
Check overtime and identifiers
Attendify calculates overtime from your configured work rules, not from federal or state law. Check that the split matches how you pay overtime before importing. Workers without a payroll ID are left out and listed as unmapped.
Review before and after
Days with a missing punch or another blocking exception produce no rows until they're resolved. After import, compare regular and overtime totals with the export summary.
